Making a Difference, One Step at a Time: Our 2025 Kicks for Kids Success Story

Matt Agnini • August 19, 2025

As a lifelong resident of Brevard County, I've always believed in the power of community to lift up our neighbors. This year, I'm incredibly proud to share the success of our Kicks for Kids initiative, where we partnered with two amazing local organizations to make a real difference in the lives of children throughout our area.

A Partnership Born from Purpose

When the opportunity arose to join forces with The Grove Church and Titusville Chiropractic & Injury Center for this year's Kicks for Kids campaign, I knew we had the potential to create something truly special. Each organization brought unique strengths to the table, and together, we were able to accomplish far more than any of us could have achieved alone.

The Grove Church's heart for community outreach, combined with Titusville Chiropractic & Injury Center's commitment to family wellness, created the perfect foundation for this initiative. As someone deeply rooted in Brevard County, I was honored to be part of bringing these organizations together for such an important cause.

The Numbers Tell the Story

The results exceeded our wildest expectations: over 1,200 pairs of sneakers distributed to disadvantaged children throughout Brevard County. But behind each number is a child who will start the school year with confidence, comfort, and the knowledge that their community cares about them.

Research consistently shows that proper-fitting shoes don't just protect children's feet – they protect their self-esteem, their ability to participate in activities, and their overall school experience. When a child has to worry about worn-out or ill-fitting shoes, it affects far more than just their comfort.

Why This Matters to Our Community

Growing up in Brevard County, I've seen firsthand how small acts of kindness can create ripple effects throughout our community. The families we reached through Kicks for Kids represent the heart of what makes our area special – hardworking parents who sometimes need a helping hand, and children who deserve every opportunity to succeed.

The timing couldn't have been more important. With the new school year approaching and back-to-school expenses mounting for families, this initiative provided crucial support exactly when it was needed most. No child should have to start the school year worried about their shoes, and thanks to our partnership, over 1,200 children won't have to.

Community Recognition

We're grateful that Florida Today recognized our efforts, highlighting how local organizations are coming together to support families during the back-to-school season. This coverage helps shine a light on the incredible work being done throughout Brevard County to support our most vulnerable residents.

The media attention also helps spread awareness about ongoing needs in our community and the various ways local organizations are stepping up to meet those needs.

Looking Forward

While we celebrate this year's success, we know the need continues year-round. The partnership we've built between our organizations has created a foundation for future collaboration, and we're already exploring ways to expand our impact in the coming year.

As a real estate professional, I see families moving to Brevard County every day, drawn by our beautiful location, strong communities, and caring neighbors. Initiatives like Kicks for Kids are part of what makes our area truly special – they demonstrate that we're not just a place to live, but a place where people genuinely care about each other.

Getting Involved

For those inspired to get involved in future community initiatives, there are always opportunities to make a difference. Whether through volunteering, donations, or simply spreading awareness about important causes, every contribution matters.

The success of this year's Kicks for Kids proves that when we work together, we can accomplish incredible things for our community. Here's to continuing that spirit of collaboration and service throughout Brevard County.
